my xbox 360 has died twice, once last year in july and once in febuary. the damn thing is still having problems.. had it for a year and a half now... Microsoft sucks, all those damn malfunctioning consoles.
Yea i got it a month ago. I was so pissed because it was out of warranty, but if you have the ring of death, its free. When the problems started i was worried because first of all, it was out of warranty, but also I was not getting the RoD. It would stop on the booting animation or freeze on the dashboard. I still believe 360 is the best out there right now, but they really have a big issue to deal with.
i find if you poo on your 360 and smear it around all over it and in the disc tray and stuff it works again sometimes. just a thought.

3/5 of all the 360's died. You can get a brand spakking new free one by calling them and complaining. I did. :D
I've had mine for 6 months and it hasn't given out...... And now I fear the red ring. lol.
My brother xbox 360 was sent to them when it broke then they sent it back. not even one day and he gets the 3 red lights again. Proves how stupid the repair people are.
mine has broken 8 times - their repair center is the worst of all time :(
